Privacy Policy

Welcome to Papaya Peg. This privacy policy explains how Matthew Fadoul ("I", "me", or "the Developer") handles data within the Papaya Peg iOS application.

1. Overview

Papaya Peg is designed to be a privacy-focused game. I do not require a Papaya Peg account, and I do not collect or store your personal identity, name, or contact information on any servers.

2. Data Collection and Usage

What is stored: Papaya Peg stores game state, high scores, favorites, and settings locally on your device using standard iOS storage. I do not have access to this local data. It does not leave your device unless Apple's iCloud sync is active on your account or you choose to enable Apple Game Center features, as described below.

No game state, high score, favorite, or settings data is transmitted to any server operated by me. The app does not include developer-operated analytics or tracking.

3. Optional Apple Game Center Features

Papaya Peg may offer optional Apple Game Center features, including leaderboards and awards (Game Center achievements). These features are opt-in. If you choose not to enable Game Center features, Papaya Peg does not submit your scores or award progress to Game Center.

If you choose to enable Game Center features and are signed in to Game Center with your Apple ID, Papaya Peg may submit gameplay information needed for those features to Apple through Apple's GameKit APIs. This may include scores, leaderboard entries, award or achievement progress, and related Game Center player identifiers. Apple processes and displays Game Center information according to your Apple account and Game Center privacy settings.

I do not operate Game Center, receive your Apple ID contact information, or maintain a separate server copy of your Game Center data. You can manage Game Center availability and sharing through iOS and Game Center settings.

4. Advertising

Papaya Peg may display banner advertisements using Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK. The app also uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to request and manage advertising consent where required.

Google may process device, ad delivery, consent, and interaction information to provide, limit, measure, and improve ads according to Google's policies. You can learn more about how Google handles information at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Papaya Peg's first ad-enabled release is configured for non-tracking advertising. The app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and does not access the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).

5. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

Papaya Peg does not request ATT permission and does not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites. If a future version adds tracking-based advertising, this policy and the app's App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before or alongside that release.

6. Children's Privacy

Papaya Peg does not knowingly collect personal information from users of any age. The app is suitable for all ages. Optional Game Center features are provided by Apple and are subject to Apple account, parental control, and Game Center settings.

7. Changes to This Policy

If future versions of the app introduce new features that affect data handling, this policy will be updated before or alongside that release.
